Chelsea Cabarcas dreams of sitting at the SportsCenter desk not just to read the headlines, but to tell the stories that make sports unforgettable. She’s not chasing the spotlight, she’s chasing impact; Using her voice, lived experience, and global sports background to connect with audiences on a deeper level.

Born in New York City to a spirited Colombian/ Dominican family, Chelsea grew up between cultures, cleats, and cameras. A former professional footballer who represented Colombia’s U-17 and senior national teams, she traveled the world competing at the highest levels, including Olympic cycles and international tournaments. After three ACL surgeries and a playing career that ended in 2020 with Atlético Junior, she stepped off the field and into the studio full time bringing with her a relentless work ethic, a gift for storytelling, and a deep understanding of athletes. During her time as a professional athlete she made sure to work in television during offseason or while injured.

Now a full time bilingual sports broadcaster and cultural host, Chelsea speaks, reads, and writes fluent English and Spanish, allowing her to reach and represent diverse audiences. She began her media career on the red carpet at Hot 97, and has gone on to work with some of the biggest names in sports broadcasting:

No persigue los reflectores, persigue el impacto: utiliza su voz, su experiencia de vida y su trayectoria global en el deporte para conectar con las audiencias a un nivel más profundo.

Nacida en la ciudad de Nueva York en el seno de una enérgica familia colombiana-dominicana, Chelsea creció entre culturas, tachones y cámaras. Ex futbolista profesional que representó a las selecciones Sub-17 y mayor de Colombia, recorrió el mundo compitiendo al más alto nivel, incluyendo ciclos olímpicos y torneos internacionales. Tras tres cirugías de ligamento cruzado anterior (ACL) y una carrera que concluyó en 2020 con el Atlético Junior, dejó la cancha para dar el salto definitivo al estudio, llevando consigo una ética de trabajo incansable, un gran talento para contar historias y un profundo entendimiento de los atletas. Durante su etapa como jugadora profesional, siempre se aseguró de trabajar en televisión durante la pretemporada o mientras se recuperaba de lesiones.

Hoy, como presentadora deportiva y anfitriona cultural bilingüe de tiempo completo, Chelsea habla, lee y escribe con fluidez en inglés y español, lo que le permite conectar y representar a audiencias diversas. Inició su carrera en medios en la alfombra roja de Hot 97 y posteriormente ha trabajado con algunas de las marcas más importantes de la industria deportiva:
